ISO 12647 (Printing Process Control Standard)

It applies to the quality control of the printing process, covering pre-press data exchange, ink suitability and other specifications to ensure the color accuracy and stability of printed packaging. For example, the printing of food labels needs to comply with the standard's requirements for color difference and dot gain.

BRCGS Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials

Developed by the British Retail Consortium and recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The standard requires companies to establish a quality, hygiene and product safety management system and applies to the production of food packaging materials, such as plastic film and cartons. Certified companies can reduce the cost of repeated audits by customers.

ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management System)

Applicable to food packaging manufacturers, requiring the implementation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) from the procurement of raw materials to the production of the entire process, to ensure that the packaging materials are non-toxic and harmless, and do not migrate hazardous substances into the food.

FSC Forest Certification

For paper packaging materials, it is divided into Forest Management Certification (FM) and Chain of Custody Certification (COC). Requires packaging paper to be sustainably sourced, avoiding illegal logging, and is commonly found in eco-friendly paper bags and boxes.
